890 Children's Guitar

Due to their smaller body, student guitars have a shorter neck and a significantly shorter scale length. In order to do justice to their sound and playing feel, it is necessary to use specially developed and made strings for them.

Shortening a string for 4/4 guitar by cutting it off would significantly reduce the string tension. It would have at least 15% too little tension on a 3/4 instrument (Taylor formula). The result would be string rattling on the fingerboard, nasal sound, "fifth impurity" and "sloppy" playability.

Therefore, only specially developed and manufactured strings should be used on children's guitars.

With the 890 series Hannabach offers the perfectly tuned strings for short scale guitars in the sizes 1/8 (scale 44-48cm), 1/4 (scale 49-52cm), 1/2 (scale 53-56cm), 3/4 (scale 57-61cm) and 7/8 (scale 62-64cm).

The set for 1/8 size is also very suitable for the use of standard E-tuning on guitars.

827 Flamenco

This 827 series was specially developed for flamenco guitar and adapted to the tonal and playing needs of this form of music.

The silver-plated bass strings, which are protected against corrosion, develop the explosive, brilliant sound typically needed in flamenco music in combination with the orange treble strings, specially developed for this style.

950 Titanyl

850 PSP

The Precision Smooth Polished (PSP) bass strings of the 850 series reduce noise when changing positions.

This treatment slightly reduces the treble components, but it produces a smoother surface for studio situations where side noises are absolutely undesirable. Perfect for studio recording and when using piezo bridge pickups.

The core of the bass strings is made of a special multifilament whose fast and perfect tunability, unrivalled sound quality and lasting durability leave no questions unanswered. The winding wire has a very high silver plating and was spun with the greatest skill to offer a perfect playing feel.

These premium anniversary strings complement the Exclusive professional series with new timbres. Designed with the valuable experience of renowned musicians, Hannabach 1869 combines proven tradition with the latest high-end materials.

The basses made of the HiTech multifilament of the Exclusive series are wrapped with copper wire coated with pure silver and additionally covered with 24 carat real gold. They sound warm and powerful with clear brilliance.

The Goldin/Carbon treble strings lie tonally between the somewhat muted nylon and the ultra-brilliant "normal" carbon strings.

In addition to their tonal advantages, the 1869 series is characterised by a high degree of tuning stability and an exceptionally balanced sound.

Carbon

Treble strings for all those who prefer the characteristic, bright sound of carbon.

Carbon strings have a significantly higher density than those made of nylon. They are thinner with the same pitch and thus more "lively" and responsive. The bending stiffness decreases, the string vibrates more easily, the number of overtones increases, the sound becomes much more brilliant.

The ear decides.

For some the sound may seem unusual, for others a carbon string can mean the end of the search for the perfect sound.

One more little tip: the strings are very thin and smooth. To prevent slipping, we recommend tying a small knot at the end of the string at the bridge.

Silver 200

Silver 200 is one of the most popular professional series from Hannabach.

Guitarists with the highest demands have been using the precision, brilliance and assertiveness of these high-quality strings for years to give their performance the right voice.

The bass strings are wound with high-silver wire and coated against corrosion. In combination with the precision-round treble strings made of nylon, they stand for perfect tone and a long life.

By the way: don't worry about allergens or other harmful substances. The Hannabach Silver 200 strings are nickel-free according to DIN EN 1811 and meet the requirements of the REACH regulation (VO [EG] No. 1907/2006).

728 Custom Made

728 Custom-Made series is a string series for upmarket demands.
